Well guys what can I say. This past year has been a very fun ride and all of us at theTRUTH would like to say thanks for the support as well as all the Laughs we have had threw the last 9 months.
Now with that being said I try to only do really dope shit or snow/skate stuff on this blog. This however I found very cool to really think about all the shit that has happened in the last 100 years. Allot of use where not around when most of this happened but it has affected is in more ways that we have ever known.

So if you haven’t herd et there is a contest that is supposed to happen in Febuary called REDBULL SUPER SESSION. I have been following this for a bit now and it looks like it is gonna be off the chain. Here is a little taste of what it is about.

It starts at a sustained 45-degree pitch at the very top, then levels out to 40, 35, then 30 degrees as you get further down. About two-thirds of the way down is a bench. We’re going to bring the snowcat in and groom the inrun into a 200-foot-wide kicker. We might break it up into three or four 30-foot-wide kickers. We haven’t decided yet. Basically the idea is to have a massive jump that everyone can hit into a full powder landing. The younger guys are really going to have an edge over the older guys here. From there, the remainder of the course is more of a Burton Stash-style park, with jibs and smaller features to play around on.

When it’s all said and done you have a multi-dimensional contest run that demands that a rider know how to pick a line, ride pow and ride pillows. The creativity level and confidence it will take to ride this course fast is huge. The goal of the event is to flatten the playing field and really bring out the strongest overall riding.

So I found this today while doing some work at the shop. First off I have to state that I am not posting this to make fun of this guy. I am posting it cause I have had a few moments in my life that I have been truely this stoked on something.

One being the fist real shread stick I got I Acid droped my stairs on it eating shit so bad. 2 being the first time I got a Paintball gun and shot my best friend in the nuts.

Anyway when it gets to 1:07 in this clip it is one of the best 1 liners I have ever herd with so much stoke and excitment. Enjoi how crazy happy this man child is on these LS.

Well today was Hemlocks first day open. Day was super fun. Not allot of fresh snow but without the powder you find yourself hitting everything in site. Over tree’s, Gapping bumps just having so much fun. Then at the end of the day you get them ice cold Imports. All and all a great start to the season.

So PArk City just opened this past weekend and its not the place war used to riding. It’s way bigger than you think cause all you ever here about it how sick the Park is. It’s massive with terrain built for all. What these guys do the best is a unreal shread playground. So insain. If you are ever shreading in UTAH and you like the parks hit this place up its unreal.

So Hello to the new Site the New Blog and another new year of winter and Pow Turns. It is this time of year that We find ourselfs just watching the snowlines get lower and lower till the moutains open and we can ride a chair. Well this year I thought I would switch it up. I didn’t want to early season Jib with hockey snow and a shitty rail. I didn’t want to ride groomer runs at Grouse. So with a little hard work and a shitty snowy drive I found myself at hemlock this past Sunday. For thouse of you that don’t know this yet or haven’t been watching the snowcam it is getting blasted up there. WE where so stoked to show up and there be about 2 1/2 feet in the parking lot. So with a bit of hard hiking and a few rest stops we found ourselfs half way up the mountain in about 45 min. with open Pow below us and boot pack in place we did this a few times and for the first time in my life My first turn of the year was a hard earned 2 foot deep pow slash! Felt so good and just left me wanting more. Below are few pics from the day and Im excited about this new BLOG and Site. With a online store on the way it should be a growing process but with good bizz partners and some serious knowlage of the industry I think this only gonna get better. GET READY TO SHREAD its gonna be a banger season.
